DCN is an umbrella organisation linking individual cycling campaigns in most Dorset towns including the conurbation of Bournemouth-Poole-Christchurch
It is controlled by a County Committee, elected annually at the Annual General Meeting every June
The County Committee deals with finance,
produces the newsletter and web site,
handles general publicity and sets our policies
The DCN Constitution, policies and standard procedures are contained in the DCN Coordinators Handbook which is approved and regularly reviewed by the County Committee.
Each branch is autonomous and campaigns in its own way
Committee members and branch coordinators are unpaid volunteers but are entitled to out of pocket expenses
